Spring is finally here and it is time for a spring skincare! Cause whilst we long for the so missed warmth of the sun, our skin isn’t quite ready for the change of seasons and many of us have to deal with skin hypersensitivity – I am one of them, so check out my spring skincare haul!
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel
The first product I bought for my spring skincare routine was the La Roche-Posay Effaclar foaming gel. This product is for oily skin but it also works for me (my skin is a combination of dry and oily skin). I use it once a day, if I used it twice a day there would be a chance my skin would dry out, before using a serum and moisturiser.
Before I go to bed I use instead of this foaming gel an olive oil+glycerin soap. To me, I feel that I found the perfect balance in my cleasing routine and it works well for my skin type.
Caudalie Glycolic Peel
I love the Caudalie brand (not being sponsered in any way!). I have found this brand in my hunt for products maden as naturally as possible, no animal cruelty involved and environmentally friendly.
This Glycolic peel is the only I got at the moment, it is a 10 minutes peel to be used twice a week. I just tried it once but I really liked the results, especially in combination with the VINOPERFECT Serum.
Caudalie VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum (Complexion correcting)
The best advice I can give to anyone looking for skincare is: Even if you don’t have a lot of money to invest in your beauty routine, try to invest in one good serum. To me this is one of the best serum on the market. Especially if you are dealing with acne marks, scares, redness and dark spots.
This serum is to be used twice a day and it is really life changing. My skincare routine really changed with this one, all I do is to use the foaming gel and use this serum and a moisturiser… et voila, I am out of the house!
La Roche-Posay EffaClar Mat Sebo-Controlling Moisturiser
The only moisturiser I am using at the moment is the Effaclar Mat Sebo-Controlling Moisturiser from La Roche-Posay. Maybe you are asking yourself why I mix products for dry skin with other from oily skin. There isn’t so easy for me to find the perfect product for my skin type, which is a mix of both skin types, so I try to find a ballance myself. My skin tend to have acne, white and black heads in certain areas, whilst other areas are dry. I have tried products for my skin type but it didn’t work well for me.
This moisturiser is perfect. It is fastly absorbed and you don’t feel any oily or milky feeling on the skin. It is just nice to have that nice feeling on the skin without have to worry about a cream dry on the skin.
Last But Not Least!
Have you ever heard about derm roller before? It is an instrument that promisses to activate a body’s wound healing mechanism and through this process it stimulates collagen production. As a result the skin looks younger: wrinkles and fine lines are reduced, acne scars and dark spots looks much lighter or even desappear. This tool can be used 2 to 7 days a week, although at the begining you should start slowly.
I can’t say much about the derma roller yet cause I have only used it twice. But judging by the redness on my face after using it, I like that it seems also to act as a massage improving skin circulation. Afterwards, the skin feels a little hurt almost like minor sunburn. That is why it is very important to use a serum or a moisturiser after this procedure. My skin looks quite healthy on the next day. So as for now, I am loving this product!
I hope you guys liked this haul. Please share with us your favourite products and beauty routine!
